Associate Membership

Why become an associate member?

Members of FORWARD Belgium are freight forwarders, transport commission agents, customs representatives and logistics service providers.

If your company or organisation does not carry out activities as listed above but leans towards the scope of FORWARD Belgium and/or its members, you can become an associate member. 

Associate membership offers the following benefits:

  • Meet exciting contacts and expand your network by participating in various (networking) events organised by FORWARD Belgium and Young FORWARD Belgium.
  • Increase your visibility by listing in FORWARD Belgium's membership directory under the 'associate members' section, making your business details visible to a wide audience.
  • Benefit from visibility on the FORWARD Belgium website by listing your company details.
  • Use the exclusive right to use the FORWARD Belgium logo with the description 'associate member FORWARD Belgium'.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the freight forwarding landscape through our monthly newsletters, e-flashes, Young FORWARD Belgium newsletters, Alfaport Voka customs newsletter and the CLECAT newsletter.
  • New associate members are announced in FORWARD Belgium's next monthly newsletter, including company logo and link to its own website.
  • Use our LinkedIn page to share your joining FORWARD Belgium with a wider audience.
  • Participate in FORWARD Belgium committee meetings (subject to prior agreement and approval by the secretariat regarding agenda compatibility). More info on the committees can be found on the website page: https://forwardbelgium.be/committee-structure. The dates of committee meetings can be found at: https://forwardbelgium.be/events-and-meetings 
  • Possibility of organising events, info sessions or Webinars for FORWARD Belgium members as long as they are NOT commercial in nature and are relevant in content to FORWARD Belgium members.
  • Have your own events included in the FORWARD Belgium agenda, which is published in the monthly newsletter and on the website page https://forwardbelgium.be/events-and-meetings.

How to become a member?

You can submit your application for associate membership via the application form.

Upon receipt of this form, your application will be presented at the next meeting of the managing body.

We will issue an invoice once this application has been approved. Membership will commence upon receipt of payment.

Contribution associated membership

The membership fee for associate members consists of an annual contribution of €750.
